The Domaine Martial DIRRINGER is a family business, and is located in a Alsatian and medieval village called Dambach la Ville. This commune is the first of Alsace in terms of exploited surface as well of volume marketed wine.

Our cellar dated from 1784 testifies vine culture and elaboration of wines of Alsace has been perpetuated in our family since many generations. We are owning and exploiting a vineyard of seventeen hectares. It is important for us to mention this point as it allows us to master the wine from the very begining; where the vines start to grow: from under the ground.

We are producing the full range of wines Alsace which follows:

  • The Appelation Alsace and its seven varietals: Sylvaner, Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Pinot-Gris, Muscat, Gewurztraminer and Pinot Noir.
  • The Appellation Grand Cru: There are fifty one in Alsace and our GRAND CRU FRANKSTEIN is one of them.
  • The Appellation Crémant d’Alsace: these sparkling wines are elabored up to the traditional method.

The speciality of the Domaine Martial DIRRINGER is the elaboration of the Riesling which nearly represents 46 per cent of the surface. Besides, we would like to point out our Riesling 1983 which was the only wine of our “Département” that has been selected for the fiftieth anniversary of National Institude of Appellations of Controled Origins. Also, part of our Riesling has been sold by auction in Paris wearing a label specially designed by CARTIER.

Our specifity is in our GRAND CRU FRANKSTEIN and in the elaboration of our Crémant d’Alsace.

1990: The french wine specialized magazine “La Revue des Vins de France “did not hesitate to select our Crémant d’Alsace among the best wines of the Year.

Since1985, we opt for “CULTURE RAISONNEE “that the vines transmit to the grapes all the authenticity of our “terroirs” (soils).

The wines of the Domaine Martial DIRRINGER are perfectly reflecting their soil. We also mean here, the very particular one where our vines have been planted, made of sandy grounds and granitic sands.

In fact, whatever its varietal or its vintage is, our wines will always disthinguishes itself by its fineness and daintiness.
